Privacy policy
How we handle your information
Last updated October 4, 2026. This policy explains what information Runwell Co collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Who we are
Runwell Co is a trade name of DLF Consulting LLC, an Iowa limited liability company. In this policy, "Runwell Co," "we" and "us" mean DLF Consulting LLC doing business as Runwell Co. You can reach us at hello@runwellus.co.
What we collect
We collect only what you choose to give us through the forms on this site:
- Get started (the Runwell Index): your name, email, company, industry, team size, revenue range, your answers to the 24 statements, and anything you write in the open question.
- The Owner Interruption Tracker: your first name, email and business name. The counts you enter in the tracker stay in your own browser on your device. We do not receive them.
- Contact form: your name, email, company, industry, revenue range and your message.
Please do not include patient, health or other sensitive personal information about anyone in these forms. We do not need it, and the forms are not designed to hold it.
Like most websites, the services that host and display this site may automatically receive basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. This site does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics. If that changes, we will update this policy first.
How we use it
- To reply to you and schedule a conversation
- To score your Runwell Index and prepare for our first call
- To send the tracker and a short series of related emails, which you can stop at any time
- To prepare proposals and, if you become a client, to deliver our services
- To keep records our business is required to keep
We may use AI tools to help organize and summarize the information you send, for example to prepare notes before a call. A person at Runwell Co reviews that work, and we only use tools that do not make your information public.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who helps us run the business
We use a small number of trusted service providers to operate. They process information on our behalf and only for that purpose:
- Website hosting and form collection (Netlify)
- Email, calendar and file storage (Google Workspace)
- Client management, proposals, contracts and payments (HoneyBook)
- Connecting our tools to each other (Zapier)
- Project tracking and meeting notes (such as Notion and Fathom)
- AI assistance for drafting and analysis (such as Claude by Anthropic)
- Website fonts (Google Fonts), which receive your IP address when the page loads
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business, in which case this policy would continue to apply.
Client engagements
If you become a client, the business information you share during an engagement is covered by our written agreement with you, including what we can access, how it is stored and when it is deleted. That agreement takes priority over this policy for client work.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and tracker information for as long as it is useful for our conversations, and no longer than three years after our last contact with you unless you become a client. Client records are kept as our agreement and the law require. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from our emails using the link in any email or by writing to us
- Ask what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it
- Clear the tracker's counts from your device at any time with "Start a new week" or by clearing your browser data
Write to hello@runwellus.co with any request. We will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy law, and we will honor them.
Security
We use reputable providers, secure connections, two-step verification on our accounts and access limited to the people who need it. No method of storing or sending information online is completely secure, but we work to protect what you share with us.
Children
This site is for business owners and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new date. If a change is significant, we will say so on the site or by email.
